304 stainless steel has excellent stainless corrosion resistance and good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
For oxidizing acids, it is found in the experiment that 304 stainless steel has strong corrosion resistance in nitric acid below the boiling temperature of ≤ 65%.
It also has good corrosion resistance to alkaline solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.

304L Stainless Steel Square Bar
304L stainless steel is a versatile stainless steel material.
304L is a variant of 304 stainless steel with a lower carbon content for applications requiring soldering.
The lower carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbides in the heat affected zone near the weld, which may result in intergranular corrosion (weld erosion) in certain environments.
The forging performance of 304L stainless steel is poor and the deformation is difficult.
Due to the existence of work hardening. The amount of deformation during the lengthening of the mandrel cannot be made too large.
And the heat loss is large. Therefore, it must be molded under the fire. If the high temperature insulation stage is not handled well, it will cause coarse crystals.
