Stainless steel surface classification
NO.1: Silver white, matt.
NO.2D: silver-white, heat-treated and pickled after cold rolling, sometimes a matte surface finish for a final light rolling.
NO.2B: Gloss is stronger than NO.2D NO.2B after treatment, after a final gentle cold rolling to obtain appropriate gloss.
This is the most common surface finish and can be used as a first step in polishing.
It is usually a bright annealed surface finish with high surface reflectivity.
NO.3: Use NO.2D and NO.2B materials to grinding with 100~200# (unit) Abrasive belt.
NO.7: Close to the mirror grinding, using the 600# rotary polishing wheel for grinding.
NO.8 Mirror grinding, grinding with a polishing wheel.
