304 stainless steel flat bar

304 stainless steel flat rod

From the perspective of metallography, because stainless steel contains chromium and the surface forms a very thin chromium film, this film is isolated from the intrusion of oxygen in the steel to resist corrosion.

Stainless steel flat bar is one of the steel profiles. 304 stainless steel flat steel is generally divided into hot rolled flat bar and cold drawn flat bar. The general delivery status of hot rolled 304 stainless steel flat bar surface is pickling, and the surface of cold drawn 304 stainless steel flat steel is generally polished.

There are many varieties of steel, which is a solid strip of steel with a certain cross-sectional shape and size.

According to the shape of the section, it is divided into two types: simple and complex. The former includes round bar, square bar, flat bar, hexagonal bar and angle bar; the latter includes steel rail, I-beam, channel steel, window frame steel and profiled steel.

Stainless steel classification

Large section steel

Round bar, square bar, hexagonal bar, octagonal bar —- diameter or distance is not less than 81mm.

The width of the flat steel is not less than 101mm.

I-beam, channel bar — height is not less than 180mm.

Equal angle bar —- the side width is not less than 150mm.

Unequal angle bar —- side width is not less than 100*150mm.

Round bar, square bar, hexagonal bar — diameter or opposite side distance is 38-80mm.

Medium steel

Flat steel —- width is 60-100mm.

I-beam, channel bar — height less than 180mm.

Equal angle bar —- edge width is 50-149mm.

Unequal angle bar —- edge width is 40*60-99*149mm.

Small section steel

Round bar, square bar, rebar, hexagonal bar, octagonal steel—-diameter or opposite side distance is 10-37mm.

Flat steel — width is not large and 59mm.

Equal angle bar —- edge width is 20-49mm.

Unequal angle bar —- edge width is 20*30-39*59mm.

Shaped section bar—-steel window material is included in this category.

Definition of stainless steel In metallurgy, stainless steel (Inox) refers to an iron alloy with a chromium content of more than 11.5% by weight. The name stems from the fact that this steel is not as susceptible to corrosion and rust as ordinary steel. Adding chromium and nickel to the steel will make the surface

Produces an anti-rust oxide film to protect the steel itself from the oxidative corrosion of air (especially oxygen), water, certain acids and alkalis in the external environment.
